Recently I have started making many Squidoo lenses.  I like them, Google likes them, and they are great promotional websites.  They are easy to make, fun, and I love making beautiful things.  You can put in as many pictures as you want and just turn them into works of art.

So now I have developed a plan of action with my internet marketing articles.  So here is what I do.

To me the easiest and best way to start making money online is through affiliate marketing.  These are the steps I take:

1. I find a profitable niche.  I look for a niche where people are passionate about, or something that creates an urgency.
2. I find some good keywords for that niche.  I do my research with my research tool to determine what the searches are and what the competition is.  I try to find words that are searched about 1,000 times per month, with an exact phrase competition of 25,000 or lower.
3. I find a product in Clickbank that is a top seller in that niche.  I pick a product that is already selling well, that people are already interested in.
4. I go and create a few lenses.  It’s that simple.  Here is a free guide to Squidoo lenses which makes it a lot easier to understand.

Then I write some internet marketing articles which I submit to Ezine Articles, GoArticles, Website-Articles, and my blog, in order to drive traffic to my Squidoo lenses and sell the product.

2. Forums. Include anchor text links in your forum signature block, if allowed.  Again, use your targeted keywords in the hyperlink which points back to your article url.  Every time you make a comment your link will be on every page that you post on.
3. Social bookmarking sites.  Submit your article to social bookmarking sites.  There are easy ways to do this.  There are different programs which submit them to many sites at a time.  I use Onlywire as well as SocialMaker.  First you have to register with all the sites you want your article distributed to, which does take a little bit of time.  But once you are registered it is very easy to submit to them through these services.
4. SEO linkbuilding services.  Usually, for a monthly fee they will create backlinks for you, or they will give you chosen websites they have researched for creating backlinks.  These tend to be very effective.  Most are very pricey.
5. Videos.  Create videos and submit them to a few video sites, and create backlinks back to your article or website.  Video sites are very hot and can create a lot of search engine juice.

Here are the steps to write effective internet marketing articles from start to finish:

Select a product to promote.  Go to Clickbank Marketplace and select one product which is already selling.  When you do a search in Clickbank in a certain category, the top results will be the ones that sell the most.

• Your blog.  Put your article in your blog.  Google loves blogs.  They are constantly crawling these blogs, so make sure to place your article here first and get indexed.
• Article directories.  Post your article on several article directories, such as Ezine Articles, goarticles, and Website-Articles, which Google also loves.  You can also post it on Article Marketer, which will distribute your article to thousands of publishers.
• Social bookmarking sites.  There are many social bookmarking sites that you can post your articles at.  Some of the most popular bookmarking sites are Delicious, StumbleUpon, Digg, Reddit, and Technorati.  This is a great way to be found by other blogs and picked up and published on other blogs for free.  This is good for you as others are allowed to publish your articles as long as they leave all your links and resource box intact.
• Ezines.  Ezines are newsletter publications on the internet, which have thousands of subscribers.  So by posting your article on ezines they have a chance to be viewed by thousands of people.  A good source for this is the Directory of Ezines, where you will find ezines in many different niches where you can distribute your articles.

Get backlinks.  Backlinks are links that point back to your website from other websites.  This is what will tell the search engines how popular your website is.  Whenever someone links to your article or website this creates an incoming link for you.  You can also create more backlinks by visiting other websites and making valuable comments on their sites and articles, and leaving a link back to your blog or article.

If you write an internet marketing article every day and follow the above procedure, you will have thousands of articles on the internet in a short period of time.  Article marketing in this way gets very viral.  Of course, the more articles and links you have on the internet, the more money you will stand to make.

1. Keywords.  All you have to do is first of all select a keyword that relates to the product that you want to promote.  You then write an article around that keyword.  You make sure your keyword is in your title, in the first sentence of your article and in the first sentence of the last paragraph of your article.
2. Basics of articles.  Your first paragraph should tell your reader what your are going to talk about.  The body of your article should talk about it.  And your last paragraph should talk about what you just talked about – in other words, introduction, body, and conclusion.
3. Author resource box.  Then at the end, you will have an author resource box where you will give some information about you.  But make this short.  The reader doesn’t really want to know about you, they want to know what you can do for them.  So use the author resource box to let them know what this product will do for them.  Make the strongest call to action that you can, and give them a link to your product.

• Keywords are essential in internet marketing.  In fact, all your promotion should be based on desirable keywords.  Keywords are the words that potential buyers type in the google search bar when they are looking for a desired product.
• You also use keywords in your articles so the search engines can index your article.    You have to let them know what your article is about so they can put it in the right category.  This way when those keywords are typed into the search bar, your article can be seen as part of that search.
